We kicked off the season at the Arena Polo Championship — an event that blends sport, elegance, and local flair. Guests stopped by our truck for hearty bites that matched the high-energy atmosphere of the match. Ridge Avenue transforms every October into one massive neighborhood celebration, and this year’s 13th annual Roxtoberfest promises the full package. Picture this: three stages with live performances, kids and adults going head-to-head in Stein-holding contests, a dog costume parade that steals the show, and the return of the Scarecrow Walk.
Our truck will be serving alongside artists, local makers, and other food vendors while families stroll the festival. Between grabbing plates, festival-goers can sip from multiple bars, admire classic cars, and check out the new Top of the Ridge Bar. With a free shuttle running between Roxborough and Manayunk, there’s no excuse to miss it.
Roxtoberfest is about community spirit, and we’re proud to add flavor to Philly’s biggest fall block party.
Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival – October 12

Chestnut Hill knows how to throw a festival. This 41st annual Fall for the Arts Festival will close down Germantown Avenue to traffic, turning the historic strip into a bustling, tree-lined arts marketplace. Over 200 artists and vendors from across the Mid-Atlantic will showcase everything from oil paintings and jewelry to pottery and live demonstrations.
For families, there’s a lineup of kids’ activities, theater performances, music stages, and even free children’s music classes. For adults, boutique shopping, local breweries, and plenty of food (including us) make the stroll a full-day experience.
Boomer’s food truck will be right there in the mix, fueling art lovers with comfort food while they explore one of Philly’s most charming neighborhoods.
Light The Night Philadelphia – October 25
Location: Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Some events are about more than entertainment — they’re about heart. Light The Night Philadelphia gathers families, survivors, and supporters to honor those touched by blood cancers. Lanterns fill the night sky, each one symbolizing hope, remembrance, or survivorship.
The event includes a two-mile walk, a Kids Zone, fundraising recognition, and a laser show at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Stories like Sofia’s — a three-year-old leukemia fighter now back in school — remind us why these moments matter.
Boomer’s is proud to stand with this cause, feeding participants and sharing in the spirit of lighting the darkness with hope.
